Goman has over 20 years of finance experience in multiple managerial positions. He is licensed for SFC Type 1, 4 and 9 regulated activities and has been responsible officers for Deutsche Bank and Tang Wealth International, the subsidiary of Datang Wealth, Beijing-based wealth management with AUM of RMB 700 billion.
Sustainable Investment and ESG focused financial work is a specialty area of Goman in recent years. He was Director in Sustainable Investment of Deutsche Bank after he founded a cross-border private equity fund- Cathaya Capital that focused on the investment in clean energy and healthcare services. In the time of Cathaya, Goman was appointed as Director of the Board of ZAP, a US-listed company, and headed a few committees.
Before his private equity career, Goman joined a few start-up firms and raised money from investors such as IFC (World Bank), Goldman Sachs, Huawei, Intel, and family offices. He was also President of another US-listed firm, who took over a medical waste management company in China as a back-door listing.
Aimed at promoting ESG and Green finance, Goman recently published books on this topic. He is also a promoter of ESG and Carbon-neutral education to institutions and supporting entrepreneurs in this pursuit.
Goman is a member of HKSI and HCFA (Chinese Financial Association of Hong Kong).
He speaks fluent English and Cantonese and Putonghua.
